Get Creative

As co-author of this consumer-level image editing text, I wanted to show readers how they could bring their favorite photos off the screen and out of their photo albums into their daily lives. With my co-author, I designed and executed craft projects intended to accomplish this goal. The publisher also engaged me to create a print design for the book, which I did using Adobe InDesign. My vision was a warm, engaging, and active design that would be quite legible but still have plenty of personality. I built templates, complete with styles, for the publisher’s compositors and also provided a written type specification for their reference.
